Report: State-run companies send 753 bln rbl to budget in 2022

MOSCOW, Jun 13 (PRIME) -- Companies with state participation contributed almost 753 billion to Russia’s budget in 2022, RBC reported on Tuesday.

“Last year, 143 companies with state participation sent to the federal budget almost 753 billion rubles of dividends on their shares. The three largest tax payers, (gas giant) Gazprom, (oil major) Rosneft, and (oil transportation monopoly) Transneft, accounted for 88% of the sum,” RBC reported.

The sum was more than twice as large as in 2021, and did not include dividends of top bank Sberbank, which are sent directly to the National Wealth Fund and are not managed by the Federal State Property Management Agency.

(82.6417 rubles – U.S. $1)
